Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Free The Music Ministry for your use of the Free The Music app. Please read them. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
Last updated June 19, 2026
1. The service
the Free The Music app provides recorded ministry calls, an instrument learning curriculum, and practice tools to its members. The app is provided by Free The Music Ministry, a faith-based ministry.
2. Who can use it
Learners of all ages are welcome. If you are under 13, you may use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for the account. By using the app you confirm the information you give us is accurate.
3. Your account
- Keep your login secure and don’t share your account with others.
- You’re responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us at admin@freethemusic.life if you think your account has been used without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, download, re-share, or publicly post the recorded calls, lessons, or other content, except where the app expressly lets you.
- Resell or commercially exploit any part of the app or its content.
- Attempt to break, disrupt, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the app or other members’ accounts.
- Use the app to harass others or to post unlawful or harmful material.
5. Our content
The calls, lessons, diagrams, tools, text, and branding in the app are owned by Free The Music Ministry or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning as a member. This license ends if your account is closed.
6. Content you create
Songs and notes you create in the app stay yours. By storing them in the app, you give us permission to host and display them back to you so the app can work. You’re responsible for the content you add and confirm you have the right to use it.
7. The calls and replays
Recorded calls and replays are shared with members for personal, devotional, and educational use. Please don’t redistribute them or share access links outside your household.
8. No professional advice
The app offers musical and educational instruction, and reflects the faith and perspective of the Ministry. It is not professional, medical, financial, or legal advice. Use it as encouragement and education, not as a substitute for professional guidance where that’s needed.
9. The app is provided “as is”
We work hard to make the app reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Free The Music Ministry and its trustees, volunteers, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn’t allow it.
11. Ending access
You may stop using the app and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the app and its members.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located in Florida.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above and note significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms.
